Job Description:
Role Descriptions:
- Design| develop| maintain| and support mainframe applications.
- Work with technologies such as COBOL| JCL| DB2| VSAM| CICS.
- Perform analysis| coding| testing| and debugging of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts| QA| and production support.
- Perform batch processing and online transaction processing enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
- Participate in system upgrades| migrations| and modernization efforts.
- Follow SDLC processes including Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards| security guidelines| and compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in: COBOL programming JCL (Job Control Language)DB2 (SQL| stored procedures)VSAM| CICS
- Experience in mainframe debugging and performance tuning
- Knowledge of batch processing and scheduling tools (e.g.| Control-M| CA7)Understanding of z/OS environment
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
